Damian M. Taranto is an associate in both the Business Litigation Practice Group and the Industrial and Consumer Product Liability Practice Group in the Philadelphia office of Lavin O’Neil Ricci Cedrone & DiSipio.

Mr. Taranto represents national, regional and local recreational and consumer product manufacturers in product liability cases, specializing in major automotive, motorcycles, forklifts, and aerial work platforms such as scissor lifts and self-propelled boom trucks. He also represents franchises throughout the mid-Atlantic region in premises liability cases. In addition, he serves as counsel for insurance carriers in a variety of matters, including insured driver general liability and excess coverage claims. Mr. Taranto has also been involved in the representation of condominium associations in construction matters for defect and warranty claims.

Mr. Taranto graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, where he served as Research Editor of the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal. He is admitted to: the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia Bar Associations.

Mr. Taranto is an avid participant in recreational sports, including golf and softball.
